Background

After beginning my career as an elementary school reading specialist in Litchfield, MN, I moved to St. Paul and taught 2nd Grade for the Roseville School District. In 2015, my husband and I moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area, where I stayed home with our children while also cultivating my interest in landscaping, woodworking, and anything related to creative design.

WeCare’s mission is aligned with my passion for improving the well-being of healthcare professionals. I’ve witnessed firsthand the hardship experienced by nurses and physicians who give fully to others at the cost of their own well-being. I’m grateful to be part of a team that seeks to transform how the healthcare workforce learns about and practices self-care.
