Dr. Tom Horejsi
Tom Horejsi MD grew up in southern Minnesota and completed his undergraduate studies at The University of St. Thomas where he majored in English literature with a minor in Philosophy. He attended The University of Minnesota Medical School and performed research in the Department of Bioethics. He went on to complete dual residencies in Family Medicine at The University of Minnesota in 2003 and Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center in 2010.
In between residency training, Tom worked in San Diego, New Zealand, and Lake Tahoe where, in his mind, he actively attempted to build the first-ever medical surf/ski practice to no avail. Over the past 8 years, he has been working with Emergency Care Consultants (ECC), primarily in the Abbott Northwestern Emergency Department. During his time with ECC, he has enjoyed serving as Education Director, APP Medical director, and most recently Medical Director of the Allina Faribault District One Emergency Department.
When he is not seeing patients or managing a busy emergency department he is actively building resilience by spending time with his family, walking his dog, praying, and napping on the couch.
